Ar gyfartaledd mae’r cyngor yn cyfarfod bob chwecch wythnos a hynnu,fel arfer, yn Neuadd Gwenfaen, Rhoscolyn. Yn ogystal a chyflwyno sylwadau ar geisiadau cynllunio lleol, prif gyfrifoldeb y Cyngor yw edrych ar ol buddiananau’r ardal a’i thrigolion, gan gyfeirio unrhyw gwynion neu problemau at yr awdurdodau addas neu berthnasol. Yn y cyd destun yma byddai’r Cynghorwyr yn barod i drosglwyddo unrhyw fater sydd yn achosi pryder i’r trigolion, a hefyd ymateb i unrhyw gynnig a ellid ei ystyried o fudd i’r gymdeithas yn lleol.
The Council started off as Rhoscolyn Parish Council. By today it represents the village of Four Mile Bridge as well as the rural district of Rhoscolyn. The Council is formed of eight members. This years Chairman is Barry Thomas and Susan Hanbury the Vice Chairman. The other Councillors are:- Iwan T Jones, Elwyn Owen, Gwilym Parry, Ann Eleri Roberts, William Roberts a Tony Thompson. The present Clerk is William Myfyr Roberts Pengwern, 12 Morawelon , Four Mile Bridge LL65-2PQ
On average the Council meets every six weeks usually at Gwenfaen Hall, Rhoscolyn. As well as submitting comments on local planning applications, the main responsibility of the council is to safeguard the interests of the area and its population, by forwarding any complains to the appropriate authority to deal with. In this context, the councillors would be willing to transfer any matter which causes concern to the local people and also to respond to any suggestions that would be considered beneficial to the local community
